To Roger and all of the wonderful staff at Drumconner,

I send to you all my heartfelt thanks for all the care and kindness shown to my parents over a period of nearly 10 years. For respite care following operations; for Christmas holidays ( sometimes lasting until Easter ); then for Mum’s and recently, Dad, permanently for 2 years, always cared for by smiling staff. Finally the generosity shown to the family following the funeral, again many thanks on behalf of our family.

Just a quick thank you note to say how much I appreciate all of your kindness whilst looking after my mother until she passed away. You do a wonderful job and made me feel so welcome when I came to visit, and thank you for the lovely flowers you sent to her funeral. They were much appreciated. The family would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for the way that Douglas Matthews was cared for during his time at drumconner, we always felt that the staff was sympathetic, understanding, kind and completely professional in all their dealings with him. His needs changed considerably during this time with you, and you successfully adjusted his care to meet his changing needs. We also appreciated the friendly atmosphere in the care home and the way that we were treated by the staff. Please accept the enclosed donation to be spent on the staff as a form of “thankyou” for the excellent work they did with Douglas.
