Every year to say a big thank you Drumconner holds a special golf tournament to thank all the professional personel that helps Drumconner over the year. This year was very electrifying (not just the performance of the Golfers) but the four electrical storms that were reigning over us, all the Golfers returned safely with a story to tell. It was a great day followed by a memorable evening.

Drumconner in 2011 plans to help raise money to help a local 7 year old boy Jamie Chappell have life changing surgery. He needs to raise £40,000 to have an operation in America, to help him walk unaided. Let’s give cerebral palsy sufferer Jamie a chance to live a normal life unaided.

Drumconners Christmas Displays have helped raise money through voluntary contributions for the “Help the Heros” Charity. Thank You to Linda Kinsman for all her hard work. The displays are truly enjoyed by all who visit.

Residents and Staff families had a wonderful surprise as Father Christmas visited Drumconners Grotto on 23rd December, Santa stayed for a couple of hours giving out early presents to a lot of happy children.
