Matron, staff and residents of Drumconner Bournemouth would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our regular visitors and friends and family members a very healthy and happy 2012.

We had a very special visitor on Christmas Day, Santa came to meet the residents and brought them all presents!  Then all the residents and some of their families and friends had a sumptous Christmas Lunch before relaxing for a traditional post lunch rest!

We had a fabulous Christmas party for the residents and their friends and relatives at the beginning of December.  Here are some photos of the day and the Christmas decorations that we have put up in the Home.

The Fashion Event held on Thursday 1 December, was a great success.  The company, Stephanie Miller brought clothes to the Home, for the Residents to try clothes on in the comfort of their own rooms.  This was a great benefit to the residents who are not normally able to go shopping themselves.

The ladies in particular really enjoyed it!

Drumconner is extremely proud to report that our fabulous gardener Mr Mike Pickersgill has done it again!

We have received the Gold Award for Residential Nursing Homes 2011 in Bournemouth in Bloom!

AND we have received the Gold Award for Commercial Frontage 2011 in Westbourne in Bloom!

Well done Mike, all your hard work has blossomed again!
