Roger Kinsman – Manager

I am a registered nurse who trained at Bishops Otter College, where I qualified in 1995 at the age of 21, the youngest qualified in the south of England. I have worked at Drumconner as Manager for 12 years.

I am married with two young sons who all play an active role in all Drumconner events. I enjoy time with my family, travelling America, Snowboarding and supporting West Ham United Football Club.

Anne Souter – Administrator

My name is Anne Souter and I have been working at Drumconner Nursing Home for approximately 30 years as an administrator. This involves showing prospective clients and their relatives around our family orientated home, answering the phone, helping residents on a daily basis plus much more. It has been a most rewarding and fulfilling job. In all this time I have never once been bored, it feels like my second home. My interests are spending as much time as I can with my family including having lots of cuddles with my grandson and his dog, walking, reading, listening to music, having relaxing meals with friends.

Julie Cunningham – PA to Manager

I have worked at Drumconner for 25 years. I enjoy working with the elderly and find it very rewarding job. My role here is personal assistant to the manager. I enjoy socialising with my friends and work colleagues, eating out, swimming, going on holiday, looking after my nieces and nephews and friends children and having cuddles with my cat.

Dominic Gianella – Head Chef

My name is Dominic Gianella and I have been employed as Head Chef for 3 years. I enjoy my work immensely especially being able to liaise with each individual client finding out their likes, dislikes and catering for their special needs, this enables me to create the perfect individual diet each client enjoys. I trained in Bath College for six years and subsequently travelled around the world learning my skills. My hobbies are spending time with my family, anything to do with all outdoors sports especially water sports, plus walking and reading.

Cindy Harris


Trained at Southlands 1980. I have working worked in various settings including G.P Practices, Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes. I have been at Drumconner for approximately 6 years and my job involves assessing residents prior to administration and follow up assessments for CHC funding.

Michelle Stubbs – Training & Development

My name is Michele and I am Training and Development Manager here at Drumconner. I am a trained nurse having worked in care of the elderly for nearly twenty years. As well as teaching staff at Drumconner to ensure a high standards of care, I am busy with my family our pigs, ducks, geese and chickens and studying for my degree

Lauren Barnes – Head of House Keeping

My name is Lauren and I am head of the House Keeping Team. I have worked at Drumconner for almost 4 years. I love my job, maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home whilst having the opportunity to chat with all our residents and boy do I talk! Socially I enjoy travelling and have been to Africa a number of times and fallen in love with it!

Carolyn Scott – Massage & Aromatherapist

Hello my name is Carolyn Scott. I am the Massage and Aromatherapist here at Drumconner. I qualified locally for complimentary therapies twelve years ago and have been working at Drumconner for nearly eight years. I am married to Ken and have three boys who are either at university, on a gap year or at college. In my spare time i like playing sport, including cricket for Henfield ladies.

Massage is great for people that are not so active, as it helps with circulation and improves mobility.

Tracy Burtonshore – Accounts Technician

Hello my name is Tracy and I have worked at Drumconner for the last nine years as an invoice payroll officer. I am a qualified accounting technician and also have a business diploma from the London School of economics. I enjoy working at Drumconner as it has a lovely family atmosphere, which is good for the clients and employees alike. Outside work I have two children one a university and the other still at school. I enjoy walking and all outdoor sports as well as playing ladies cricket (or trying to play!) for a local team.
